An electrical engineering technologist is responsible for performing many tasks related to the use of electrical equipment and electronic systems. As an electrical engineering technologist, you utilize your technical skills to take part in the design and development efforts for new electronic equipment and devices. You may also play a role in the actual manufacturing process. Your job duties include developing technical layouts, creating control methods for the use of scientific instruments, setting up the schedule for electrical distribution, and testing electronic equipment.
