What does a primate do?

Primate jobs include jobs in a zoo, laboratory, or primate sanctuary, as well as research jobs, such as primatologists, wildlife biologists, and zoologists. The duties and responsibilities for these different jobs vary widely. For example, as a primate caretaker at a zoo, your duties may include cleaning enclosures and feeding the animals, while as a primatologist, you may travel to wildlife sanctuaries to study the behavior of primates or assess threats to the natural habitat of primates. Some primate specialists also consult with park rangers and law enforcement workers to prevent poaching.
