What are evening shift jobs?

An evening shift job is any job in which the work hours fall outside the traditional 9-5 schedule. Evening shift jobs are available in a variety of fields. Some businesses are open 24-hours and may have one earlier evening shift (e.g., 3 p.m.-11 p.m.) and another late night shift (e.g., 11 p.m. -7 a.m.). Other businesses are busy after normal business hours, like restaurants and some retail stores, and they may require extra coverage during those hours. There are evening shift jobs for part-time and full-time positions.
