What is a UCI RN?

UCI RNs are Registered Nurses who work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital. They are responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients, often dealing with life-threatening conditions that require constant monitoring and advanced medical interventions. UCI RNs collaborate closely with doctors, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. They must have advanced knowledge of critical care nursing and usually require additional certifications beyond a standard RN license.
