What is a surgical unit RN?

Surgical Unit Registered Nurses (RNs) are specialized nurses who care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. They monitor vital signs, administer medications, assist with wound care, and collaborate closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery. Surgical Unit RNs also educate patients and their families about postoperative care and help manage pain and complications that may arise after surgery.
