What is Run For Something?

Run For Something is a nonprofit organization that recruits and supports young, progressive candidates running for local office in the United States. Founded in 2017, its mission is to lower the barriers to entry for diverse and underrepresented groups who want to engage in politics. The organization provides resources, mentorship, and guidance to help first-time candidates launch and run effective campaigns.
