What is a police student?

Police Students are individuals who are enrolled in a training program or academy to become certified police officers. They receive classroom instruction, physical training, and hands-on experience to learn about law enforcement procedures, criminal law, community policing, and self-defense. Police Students are not yet full officers but are preparing to pass exams and complete requirements necessary for graduation and certification. Upon successful completion of the program, they may be eligible to join law enforcement agencies as probationary officers.
