What is a PICU RN?

PICU RNs, or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses, are specialized nurses who care for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in hospital intensive care units. They are trained to monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide advanced life support to young patients with severe health conditions.
