What is PATH International?

PATH International is a nonprofit organization that promotes equine-assisted services for individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. Formerly known as the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA), PATH International sets industry standards, provides education, and offers certification for professionals in therapeutic horsemanship. Its members include individuals, centers, and professionals dedicated to improving lives through the power of the horse. PATH International supports a network of centers worldwide that offer therapeutic riding, equine-assisted learning, and related activities.
