Job description

Position: PATH Certified Riding Instructor

Location: Plant City, FL

Liebe Cornelia Hooves to Healing’s (LCH2H) mission is to provide individuals with access to carefully selected, life-changing equine therapy programs that promote well-being. We focus on creating personalized experiences that empower participants to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet the qualifications and conduct classes in a manner that is in keeping with PATH International standards and LCH2H policies and procedures.

• Provide assistance to other Instructors as required.

• Communicate and interact effectively with students, parents or caregivers, donors, and visitors.

• Assist Volunteer Coordinator with trainings when requested.

• Communicate and interact effectively with volunteers.

• Create lesson plans as needed.

• File Occurrence Reports for any accidents or incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current PATH International Instructor (CTRI) certification required

• Current CPR and First Aid certification

• Strong equine handling knowledge and skills

• Demonstrated ability in basic riding skills

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Demonstrated history of dependability and responsibility.

• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

• Ability to collaborate with and work within a team environment.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must be able to pass a background check.
