Npers, or Nebraska Public Employees Retirement Systems (NPERS), is a government agency responsible for administering retirement plans for public employees in Nebraska. NPERS manages retirement benefits for teachers, judges, state and county employees, and school employees outside of Omaha. The agency oversees contributions, investments, and the distribution of retirement benefits to eligible members. NPERS also provides resources and education to help members understand and manage their retirement plans.
