What is a line superintendent?

Line Superintendents are responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and safety of power transmission and distribution lines. They manage teams of lineworkers, coordinate repairs and upgrades, and ensure that electrical service is reliable and complies with regulatory standards. Line Superintendents also develop work schedules, respond to outages, and implement safety protocols to protect workers and the public.
