What is a level 3 engineer?

Level 3 Engineers, often referred to as Tier 3 or L3 engineers, are highly skilled technical professionals responsible for handling the most complex and advanced support issues within an organization. They provide expert troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, and often design or implement solutions for escalated problems that lower-tier engineers cannot resolve. L3 engineers may also contribute to system architecture, mentor junior staff, and collaborate on strategic projects to improve IT infrastructure and services.
