How to get a remote wilderness job?

Career: Remote Wilderness

The qualifications that you need to get a remote wilderness job include experience and skills to travel safely in the outdoors. Many employers do not have educational requirements, though some may expect you to have survival training from a wilderness school or the military. Outward Bound and the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) offer survival training courses. NOLS also has classes in subjects such as risk management and wilderness first aid. If you operate a boat or guide hunting or fishing clients, you need a guide’s license in most states. Employers and clients also expect you to have excellent communication and first aid skills.
