How to get a PACS job working remotely?

The qualifications and skills that employers expect for remote PACS professionals vary. All positions require computer skills and knowledge of the Picture Archiving and Communication System. Some employers expect administrators, support specialists, and analysts to have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or health information systems. Other employers may expect a background in radiology, such as a degree in radiologic technology and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). PACS professionals can pursue accreditation from the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII) or the PACS Administrators Registry and Certification Association (PARCA).
