To become an in-house CRA, you must have significant qualifications, including education, training, and interpersonal communication skills. At a minimum, you must have an associate or bachelor's degree in a life science, such as biology or chemistry, or nursing. You also need experience with experiment design and statistical surveys, which may come along with your education. Previous experience working on clinical trials as an assistant is often a requirement. You must also demonstrate significant knowledge related to state and federal regulations concerning clinical studies and medical and clinical ethics. Of course, research skills are crucial.
