How to become an entry level realtor?

Career: Entry Level Realtor

The primary qualifications for becoming an entry-level Realtor are a high school diploma or equivalent and completing the educational requirements for real estate agents in your state. State requirements vary, but they usually entail attending a series of classes (typically between 30 and 90 hours) and passing an exam. As an entry-level employee, companies do not expect you to have professional experience, but internships or shadowing a real estate agent can help you gain experience in the field. Additional certifications and designations can help you stand out from other entry-level Realtors, especially in markets that already have a lot of active real estate agents. Most Realtors also become members of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
