How to become a workforce manager?

Many workforce managers have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or an industry-related field, but some employers may consider candidates without a degree who have extensive experience in supervising staff and analyzing productivity. A background in human resources and several years in leadership roles is also desirable. You must be familiar with different kinds of workforce management and timekeeping programs, such as Workbrain, Workforce Software, and ADP eTime, and understand the full cycle of a workforce project. This includes analyzing productivity, determining the effectiveness of the company's current timekeeping system, and configuring and implementing new systems. Additional qualifications include proficiency with Mircosoft Office, excellent communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
