How to become a reading coach?

To pursue a career as a reading coach, you need at least a bachelor’s degree in education with a focus on reading instruction and literacy. Many school districts require a post-graduate certificate or master’s degree in literacy from an accredited university. Furthermore, you need additional qualifications, like a teaching license and classroom teaching experience before taking on the role of a reading coach. You must complete continuing education courses to renew your teaching certification and reading endorsement every few years.
