How to become a practice director?

Although some candidates with the right qualifications can move into a practice director position from a human resources or management position in a healthcare facility, most companies prefer candidates with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in health information management or a related field. Previous work experience is also a plus, especially if your job duties and responsibilities relate to the work you do as a practice director and enhance your computer, communication, analytical, motivational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
