How to become a PCT?

Career: Pct

To become a PCT, you can attend a program at a health care training institution or vocational school. Some states require you to be a registered certified nursing assistant before becoming a PCT. Training programs typically include both classroom and practical training in tasks such as CPR, taking a patient’s vitals, and drawing blood. Training will also include using and understanding the devices and diagnostics tools found in a patient room, such as blood pressure machines and heart rate monitors.
