How to become a moderator?

Career: Moderator

There are no formal educational requirements to become a moderator. Instead, you may gain experience volunteering for online groups, chat rooms, and message boards, and then reach out to companies that offer paid positions. To be a successful moderator, you must research the topics beforehand, prepare appropriate questions, and stay neutral. Additional qualifications include the ability to pay close attention to all interactions, sound judgment, and excellent written language skills. Some moderator jobs are remote positions and require you to have reliable internet and access to updated computer equipment.
