How to become a miner?

A miner is a laborer who extracts coal or other minerals from underground blocks. To start a career as a miner, you must complete formal training through a Mine Safety and Health Administration approved program. While apprenticeship requirements vary by state, completing an apprenticeship after the program gives you an opportunity to gain experience alongside an experienced miner. After your apprenticeship, you must pass miner certification exams and complete first aid training.
