How to become a mailer?

There are no formal educational requirements to become a mailer, although most employers expect you to have your high school diploma or GED certificate and be able to read and write efficiently. Some mailers may be studying to earn a degree in marketing, working as a mailer to gain a better understanding of the skills needed in the mass mailing process. If you wish to work for the US Postal Service as a mailer, rather than in the private sector, you may need to meet additional qualifications to get hired, although you still receive most training on-the-job.
