Career: Loss Prevention Associate

To get an entry-level job as a loss prevention associate, also known as a loss prevention specialist or loss prevention officer, you need a high school diploma or GED certificate. Some higher-end retail stores or businesses may require an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field, or security experience.
