How to become a legal receptionist?

Career: Legal Receptionist

Most Legal Receptionist jobs require a high school diploma or GED at the minimum but having a bachelor’s degree is beneficial if you want to advance in an organization. Legal reception is an excellent way to start a career in the legal profession. Some employers may also prefer that you have some experience working in a law office. Before starting your jobs search, find an entry-level position in a non-legal or legal environment, or take courses at your local community college. Gain skills in answering phone calls and emails, greeting clients and visitors, scheduling appointments, organizing files, ordering office supplies and become familiar with the processes of a legal workplace. Once you feel confident that you can take on those responsibilities, start searching for a Legal Receptionist job.
