How to become a driver merchandiser?

Career: Driver Merchandiser

The primary qualifications for getting a job as a driver merchandiser are a high school diploma and some experience with commercial driving and customer service. Many driver merchandisers start by working in retail environments before switching to driving and merchandising. As the name suggests, this job also requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Driver merchandisers do not always need a commercial driver's license, but you should try to get at least a Class A CDL to boost your resume. Other useful qualities for starting a career as a driver merchandiser include physical stamina, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. You also need to be able to lift and carry heavy boxes and work unusual hours as needed.
