How to become a diver?

There are no traditional higher education requirements needed to become a commercial Diver. Some employers may prefer that you have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition to being a strong swimmer, one of your most important credentials is commercial diving certification. You will need to pass training programs by entities such as the Association of Diving Contractors International (ACDI). Your curriculum will vary depending on the career path you expect to follow but might include courses in underwater welding, rigging, hydraulics, and diving equipment maintenance. With your certification in hand, your employer will further train you in the relevant duties associated with your job. You can advance your career by earning additional and more advanced certifications along the way.
