However, you could qualify for an entry-level position with an associate’s degree and relevant experience, and as a freelance designer, you need nothing but a robust portfolio. You must be proficient with design software like the Adobe Creative Suite, which includes Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop, and Flash. Since you may work with other digital designers and computer programmers, teamwork skills are a must.
