You need a bachelor’s degree to begin a career as a clinical trial associate. Other qualifications include at least two years of experience working with medical or clinical trials, or as part of a team in a clinical research organization (CRO) or sponsor capacity. Familiarity with the disease a drug is meant to treat, knowledge of relevant regulatory agencies, and strong organization and communication skills are helpful in this job.
