The qualifications that you need to get a job as a client services manager include a degree and management skills. In this career, you interact with clients, so you need strong customer service skills. You may also train other staff to perform customer service tasks, so you need communication and teaching skills as well. You also need analytical and planning skills to assess current client service practices and institute new policies when required. Companies expect you to have a bachelor’s degree in business, but they may accept a high school diploma with five or more years of equivalent experience. In some cases, you need previous experience providing client support within a specific industry.
