How to become a change management lead?

Career: Change Management Lead

The primary qualifications for becoming a change management lead are a bachelor's degree in business, communication, or another related field. Employers typically prefer candidates to have at least five years of experience in management roles or in operations and consulting work in business change initiatives. Certification is not required, but some companies seek out candidates that hold certifications related to their change project. For example, a company revamping its IT infrastructure may want someone who is ITIL v3 Certified. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software or other large enterprise system deployments is also a plus.
