How to become a business project manager?

Career: Business Project Manager

Most Business Project Manager positions require candidates to have at least a bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field, or in a relevant program in the industry to which you’re applying. Some employers prefer applicants who have also completed a master’s degree. Business Project Managers need to have several years of experience in the industry; past supervisory positions are a plus. You must also have excellent planning and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing corporate priorities. You should be proficient with business administration programs such as MS Project, Trello, and Asana. Attaining Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or project manager or senior project manager certificates from the American Society for the Advancement of Project Management may provide a competitive edge in the job market.
