Job Summary – Business Project Manager (Healthcare/Insurance Domain)
- Lead and manage end-to-end business projects within healthcare and insurance functions (e.g., claims processing, member services, compliance).
- Coordinate and collaborate with business stakeholders (product owners, operations, compliance, SMEs) to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
- Drive risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate regular meetings, executive updates, and ensure alignment of project outcomes with business goals and strategic priorities.
- Manage project dependencies, resources, and budgets efficiently.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation (business cases, BRDs, post-implementation reviews).
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS) and industry standards.
- Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools to deliver successful project results.
