Manager Business Project & Support

Hours: 8a - 5p

Location:Hybrid 2: This role requires associates to be in-office3days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

TheManager Business Project & Support is responsible formanaging the system development function for the Service Organization to include project and resource planning for both day-to-day support and corporate projects.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provides leadership, development, and management for a group of business resources responsible for system projects.
  • Responsible for improving the processing of project delivery.
  • Functions as relationship manager between the Service Organization and the Information Technology group.
  • Assures timely and accurate project deliverables along multiple lines of business.
  • Manages and promotes project management efficiency and improvements.
  • Develops process management standards.
  • Manages the estimation of time and resources for project cost and planning analysis.
  • Ensures quality by creating metrics for the measurement of projects and/or processes.
  • Embraces and researches external industry and market trends.
  • Develops and fosters relationship with customer base through proactive planning and strategy.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA/BS in Business or Information Technology and minimum of 3 years business system project related assignments, project management of complex cross system efforts, feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Previous management experience highly preferred.
  • SQL experience preferred.
  • Coordination of Benefits experience preferred.
