Although there are typically minimal educational qualifications to become a booking manager, you must be able to manage multiple clients and maintain a strong professional network to help your clients book performances. However, a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or public relations and experience through an internship at a talent booking agency can give you the skills and knowledge you need to become a successful booking manager. Depending on your state, you may also need to obtain a booking agent license. Additional qualifications include strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales skills.
