To be a good principal, listen to your staff and find out what they need for their classrooms and what support they need to become a better teacher. Organize staff development workshops that provide tools to make teachers more effective in their classes. Offer constructive criticism after you observe your staff at work. Be available to parents and students, and take their concerns seriously. Get to know the students by walking the halls and visiting with them during breaks. Address problems, such as bullying or facility repairs, quickly and efficiently. You must be organized to maintain order on your campus.
