How do you become an antenna engineer?

Career: Antenna Engineer

An antenna engineer is an electrical engineer. Therefore, job qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. You may also choose to become licensed as a professional engineer (PE). Employers may not consider this license necessary, but it helps you qualify for senior positions and demonstrates your engineering skills. Entry-level antenna engineers and engineering interns may work on research projects and use CAD software to create blueprints for senior engineers. Professional engineer certification requires four years of work experience.
