How do you become a student recruiter?

Qualifications for a student recruiter include a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field and experience working with students or in a university setting. You must have knowledge of recruitment, marketing, and sales techniques, and you are expected to stay updated on all student services, curriculum, and programs provided by the university. You must be able to create and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and faculty members and be able to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds. Some computer and database management skills are required as well. You must be comfortable delivering presentations, able to communicate verbally and in writing, and able to gather data and prepare reports.
