How do I become a grounds manager?
Career: Grounds Manager
There are no formal qualifications to become a grounds manager. The most common career path is to begin as an entry-level grounds maintenance worker and work your way up as you gain skills and experience. When you first start out in groundskeeping, you perform landscaping tasks; you plant shrubs and flowers, handle litter removal, and repair fixtures such as fences or benches. However, you can choose to complete an optional certificate or degree program to demonstrate your aptitude for management positions. Fields of study such as landscape design, turf management, and business are options.
