What does an FPGA engineer do?

An FPGA engineer designs, develops, and tests digital circuits using Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). They write hardware description language code, such as VHDL or Verilog, to implement custom hardware functions and optimize performance for applications like communications, aerospace, or embedded systems.
