What is an entry level bricklayer?

Entry level bricklayers are individuals who are just starting out in the masonry trade, typically with little to no prior experience. They assist experienced bricklayers in tasks such as mixing mortar, carrying materials, and laying bricks or blocks under supervision. Entry level bricklayers also learn to read blueprints, use masonry tools, and follow safety procedures on construction sites. This position often serves as a stepping stone to becoming a fully qualified bricklayer through on-the-job training or an apprenticeship program.
