DAEP stands for Disciplinary Alternative Education Program. These are specialized educational settings designed to serve students who have been removed from their regular school due to serious or persistent disciplinary issues. DAEPs provide continued instruction while focusing on behavior modification and helping students meet academic and social goals. The aim is to prepare students for successful reintegration into their home campus. DAEP staff include teachers, administrators, and support personnel trained to address both educational and behavioral needs.
