What is a chief tech?

A Chief Tech, often referred to as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the technological direction and strategy of a company. They lead the development and implementation of technology initiatives, manage IT teams, and ensure that technological resources align with business goals. Chief Techs also evaluate new technologies, oversee research and development, and work closely with other executives to drive innovation and growth within the organization.
