What is a BMS?

BMS (Building Management Systems) professionals are specialists who design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems that control and monitor a building’s mechanical and electrical equipment, such as HVAC, lighting, power systems, fire systems, and security systems. Their primary role is to ensure optimal building performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort by integrating and managing these systems through centralized platforms. They also analyze system data to detect issues, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
