Are nursing professor jobs in demand?

Career: Nursing Professor

The number of applicants in nursing schools is rapidly increasing, so the demand for nursing professors is also growing faster than the market can develop enough qualified professors. Therefore, there’s a lack of qualified professors to teach students working toward a nursing profession. As such, professors may have fewer qualifications than those who were working just a few years ago. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs in this field are expected to grow 19 percent between 2014 and 2024, which is far above average for other industries.
