What is an allergy RN?

Allergy RNs, or Allergy Registered Nurses, are specialized nurses who provide care to patients with allergies and related immune system disorders. They assist physicians in diagnosing, treating, and educating patients about allergic conditions, such as asthma, hay fever, food allergies, and eczema. Their responsibilities may include administering allergy tests, giving allergy shots, monitoring patient reactions, and providing education on avoidance strategies and medication management.
