Automation Engineer | Walker, MI

Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Walker seeking experienced Automation Engineers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
  • Program PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or controls engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
  • Experience with vision systems, sensors, and other automation components.
  • Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex automation systems.
