Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple MECH TECH P 3's (PIPE WELDER) for a contract opportunity in Charleston, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years additional education and/or related experience; Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 3 years of related experience. May require certification.

- RESPIRATOR 3M SPEEDGLASS PAPR 9100MP ADFLO (Must have a approval from H&S)

- Welding shield compatible with MSA Skull Gard Hard Hat with shields

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys.
- Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. Second Shift 3:30PM-12:00 AM
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
