Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.
- Experience in software engineering and software development
- Ability to interpret program needs, formulate solutions, and communicate to leadership effectively.
- Knowledge and Experience with Embedded Linux
- Proficient in C++ programming
- Experience deploying, debugging, and Integrating Embedded Software on Hardware
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams.
- Experience designing ground system embedded software.
- Experience with GitLab
- Software integration and verification experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (if noted by client in their req):
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAccredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
WORK HOURS- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
